At the end of March, ASOV Stockholm visited the African continent—more specifically, Tanzania. Workshops were held focusing on women’s rights, sexual and reproductive health, as well as self-esteem.

These are topics often missing from traditional education. The goal of the workshops was to equip women with tools that will hopefully empower them to take a more active role in society. There are clear gender roles that we aim to help break. In general, women tend to have a smaller presence compared to men, especially in education, politics, and the workforce.
